This project analyzes data from 35 undercover teams implemented by a guidance counselor at Edgewater College, a high school in a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. The author explores the nature of bullying according to the students reporting it. The findings are part of a larger project designed to examine the impact and effectiveness of an anti-bullying approach called an "undercover anti-bullying team."

The purpose of this study was to contribute to bridging the gap between research and practice by investigating the particular usability and design issues that impact applicant perceptions when using unproctored testing, particularly the potentially unique reactions of older applicants. Age was also used as a variable to determine if it moderates applicant perceptions of procedural justice, organizational attraction and intentions toward the organization when taking an unproctored test.

The present study evaluated the relationship between domains of family functioning and maternal stress in families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and families of typically developing (TD) children. The ASD group consisted of parents of children with an ASD diagnosis currently receiving services at an on-campus center and the community group consisted of parents of TD children. The purpose of this study was to reexamine the Goldberg Paradigm and the Gender Role Congruity Theory in the academic setting. The present study was interested in examining the attitudes of both male and female evaluators in the college setting. The presented study also predicted that the self-evaluations of the participants would vary due to the application they evaluated. The study manipulated gender and major (math, business, English literature, and art) as independent variables in the mock applications. Data was collected from undergraduate students. After reading the mock applications, participants would complete a survey.

The purpose of this project is to introduce and analyze the outcomes of undercover anti-bullying teams. The data to be presented in this research paper is on the use of these teams at Edgewater College, in Auckland, New Zealand, formed by Michael Williams the head guidance counselor. The data was collected ex post facto through two surveys. Each posed eight questions, stimulating participants to recall and expound on their personal experience. The surveys were completed by thirty-two undercover anti-bullying teams, during their final meetings.

The purpose of this project was to explore parental self-efficacy among parents of children with autism receiving home-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (A.B.A.) treatment. Applied Behavioral Analysis (A.B.A.) is defined as the use of information acquired through the science of observable behavior analysis to facilitate the improvement of behaviors that are socially important. This study will explore the effects of self-regulation and the tendency to commit to or refrain from creative projects. The relationship between one's feelings of creative achievement and motivation to pursue creative activities will also be investigated. A total of 274 students of California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) were recruited from lower division and upper division psychology courses. Participants rated 12 questions regarding their creative identity on a 4 point scale.

The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of various organizational arrangements on police officers' belief that they and their work are valued by the department. This study examines four management domains and their impact on officers' feelings of being valued. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between acculturation and depression among Latina college students. Out of 72 participants, the respondents had low reports of experiencing depressive symptoms and had an equal balance between traditional culture and western culture. Seventy-two students from the California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) undergraduate program were administered questionaires to participate in this study. This study investigated responsibility attributions for a partner's emotional infidelity and for a partner's sexual infidelity, and the likelyhood that the victim or partner would end the relationship. This study found a significant relationship between responsibility attributions for a romantic partner's unfaithfulness and the likelihood the relationship would end: the stronger the attributions of personal responsibility the more likely the relationship would dissolve.

The present research suggests that euphemistic labeling and level of victim provocation may be successful in altering attributions of blame in domestic violence cases, and that these factors may be processed differently by men and women. The current study focused on the prevalence of negative eating attitudes in one hundred and forty-five Latina college students and delineated the cognitive and cultural factors that may be responsible for the increase in negative eating attitudes (NEAT) in Latinas. Questionnaires were distributed to college students enrolled in various social science classes in undergraduate psychology courses at Cal State University, San Bernardino for extra course credit.

The purpose of this thesis was to determine the persistence of one-shot context-specific and context-independent behavioral sensitization by administering a single pretreatment injection of cocaine or saline in either the home cage or a novel test chamber on PD 19 or PD 79. In order to examine the persistence of conditioned activity, adult rats were given an injection of saline after 1, 3, or 5 abstinence days. Preweanling rats were given an injection of saline after only 1 abstinence day.

This study makes a significant contribution to the work stress and coping literature by making it the first study to use the Professional Worker Career Experience Survey (PWCES) dataset to examine differences in work stress and coping styles with regard to age, gender and their supposed interaction.
