As population continues to grow the need for creating efficient and effective built environments that balance the three pillars of sustainability, environment, economic and equity, becomes even more pertinent. This exploratory research assisted in bridging the gap between understanding sustainable policy development and resulting impact on the corresponding outcomes, including influences from political culture. Followed by an overarching view of the changes in sustainable built environment outcomes over the course of nine years and how these outcomes influenced air quality measurements and inpatient asthma discharges. Developing nations have been slow to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies despite a growing threat to governance and public security arising from an increased dependency on Internet-connected systems in the developing world and rising cybercrime. Using a neorealist theoretical framework that draws from Gilpin and Waltz, this qualitative case study examined how the government and private sector in Jamaica viewed the state of cybersecurity in the country, and how the country was currently developing policy to respond to cyber threats. Objective. High school students across North Texas are failing to meet the academic standards of the federal No Child Left Behind Act. In response, after-school programs have been implemented to support cognitive and communal development of these at-risk youth. Technology can play a role in after-school by expanding the boundaries of the traditional classroom. This study evaluates the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Technology Center (MLK CTC) After-School Program between August 2006 and July 2007. Methods.
