Memoirs and oral histories of the Holocaust reveal that Jewish women in Germany experienced a significant change in gender roles and expectations following the passage of the Nuremberg Laws in 1935. These women adapted as a means of survival. As Nazi occupation spread, similar observations can be made in Jewish communities across Europe. In ghettos and work camps, many women formed bonds with one another, despite coming from different backgrounds. Divergent and often contradictory arguments appear in organizational research on the relationship between gender-diverse top management team and performance. In the present study, I integrate several distinct literatures to test a theoretical model that examines the influence of gender diversity among hedge fund executives on the performance of the target firm. Specifically, I argue that gender diversity among hedge fund executives weaken the performance consequences because females are perceived to possess traits less suited for the leadership position, which in turn influence their performance. In the last two years of the seventeenth century, approximately 3,000 people, mostly Scottish merchants, soldiers, sailors and their families, migrated to a small coastal region in central America for the purpose of establishing a colony in Panama. These travelers personified the financial dreams of some elite Scottish merchants when they formed a joint stock company known as The Company of Scotland Trading to Africa and the Indies in 1696. Gender Is A Drag: A Study Of How Drag Performance Affects Awareness The Communication Of Gender, Kaylee "Artie" Peters

After conducting an online open-ended ethnographic survey through Qualtrics in order to assess the relationship between drag performers and gender as a form of communication, an analysis was prepared based on 19 open-ended surveys with an age range of 20-55. The RQ was to find out to what extent drag changes a performers’ awareness of the communicative properties of gender. The study failed to reject the null hypothesis. The findings concluded that performers consistently acknowledged gender and drag as communicative acts, but inconsistently saw their own gender as a communicative act.
