The open education movement is quickly expanding to include free textbooks, open courseware, and new models of delivering educational content. With expertise in the areas of open access, copyright, and institutional repositories, Librarians are well-suited to lead open education initiatives. This session discusses strategies for implementing open education initiatives, showcasing and preserving open education materials, and building partnerships to sustain this movement.
