Even though many would deny the power and influence of religion in this day and age and opine for freedom from religion, this article seeks to persuade the reader that law and religion are interdependent and that religion is an important element in our secular society. Through an exploration of the religious dimensions of law and the legal dimensions of religion as well as an analysis of selected U. S.
