A family correspondence written by Allen Cameron's Brother Walter from U.S. Arsenal in [Augusta, Georgia?] Relates personal contact with large powder mills [at Augusta, Georgia?]. One entry: dated March 26th, 1868.

Handwritten; 1 folded sheet (4 p.); 20 x 26 cm. folded to 20 x 13 cm.

Envelope included postmarked March 27, August, Ga. and addressed "A. F. Cameron, No. 3 James St., Springfield, Mass." Envelope includes a printed return address "U.S. Arsenal Augusta, Georgia" with the phrase "Official Business" crossed out.
