Green Criminology is a concept developed by Michael Lynch in 1997. At that time the natural environment and resources in the world were being threatened heavily by humans. Green Criminology sought to assess the harm caused by environmental offences so as to come up with solutions for humans, wild animals, the environment and the ecosystem. Importantly, wildlife trafficking in Thailand has become a crime that damages the country.
