An MTAS Technical Bulletin dated April 5, 1978, reported an opinion from the Office of the State Attorney General relative to voting in municipal elections by nonresident property owners. This opinion was negated by Chapter 944, Public Acts of 1978, which provided that nonresidents could vote in municipalities where they owned property.

An environmental library system (ELS) for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development has been developed and installed in six HUD offices to bring together all nationwide and local environmental source materials in an information system with accompanying manuals indicating how to use the various sources needed to answer environmental questions comprise one of the basic elements of the system, which also includes question guides, the collection itself, and a card catalog.

This Technical Bulletin discusses the issue of whether property ownership in a municipality makes a person eligible to vote in municipal elections where he or she owns property but does not reside. The Office of the State Attorney General rendered the opinion that "the mere ownership of property in a municipality does not give the owner(s) of the property a right to vote in the municipal elections. Ethological Considerations In The Experimental Study Of Lizard Behavior, Neil Greenberg
Faculty Publications and Other Works -- Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
The importance of an ethological approach to the experimental study of an unfamiliar species is described and several of its problems discussed. The selection of units of behavior is a crucial first step in the development of a behavior inventory. The correlation of a behavioral unit with a particular context is necessary to ascribe function to that to that unit and to develop an ethogram. Methods of studying lizards under controlled conditions are described and discussed. Constraints on behavior that must be considered in an experimental study include the microclimate and its thermal qualities, food and water, shelter utilization, and …
