Often, where there has been this experience among some of the members of a church and not among the others, there develops a misunderstanding and a divisiveness. Such is the subject of this paper. Why is there this divisiveness? Is it really true that Spirit-baptism is a separate experience, apart from baptism with water? Does God intend for people today to have this gift of Spirit-baptism?
