INTRODUCTION: The ‘stages of change’ model defines behavior change as a process with a series of stages. Alcohol use disorder which includes ‘harmful use’ and ‘alcohol dependence’ is a serious public health concern. With the ever increasing prevalence of ‘alcohol use disorder’ there is an increasing need to better understand the complexities of behavior change among this group. METHODS: A cross- sectional survey was conducted in 8 alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers (residential treatment centers) of Kathmandu, Nepal, in September 2018, involving 225 male patients. Alcohol consumption and substance use are associated with sexual risk behaviors. In Myanmar, lack of study was reported on alcohol consumption, substance use and sexual risk behavior among men who have sex with men (MSM) and current study was conducted to identify patterns of alcohol consumption, substance use and sexual risk behavior among MSM in Yangon and Mandalay, Myanmar. Most of the family-based interventions focus on assisting patients more than the family caregivers. Family caregivers of schizophrenic patients require intervention which focuses more on their strengths than on solving problems for schizophrenic patients. For this study with 127 family caregivers of schizophrenic patients in Nonsung District, Nakornratchasima Province, Thailand, 63 were in the intervention group and 64 were in the control group. The 4-session intervention was held every other week. Psychological well-being and burden of care were assessed pre-intervention, post-intervention, and at 3-month follow-up. Background: The suicide mortality rate of the elderly in Thailand rose by 9.7% from 2008 to 2018. While the suicide mortality rate in Bangkok rose 61.1% in 5 years. There had been no recent research to estimate the suicidal idea prevalence and its association in the elderly living in Bangkok. Methods: A secondary data analysis of 1,454 elderly, registered in the elderly clubs, was conducted. A cross-sectional study was performed for household survey using a questionnaire with a face-to-face interview to determine the general characteristics and water consumptions during flooding events in flood-prone communities, Pak Phanang and Chian Yai district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Thailand between February-July 2020. From a 425 household survey, 69.5% were female, two-thirds of the participants aged 46 years old and above, and had the average monthly household income at 7305.13 ± 7016.56 Baht.
