The purpose of this study was to identify program characteristics of semesterized secondary vocational agriculture/agribusiness programs which promote student involvement in supervised occupational experiences and FFA leadership activities. The design of this study utilized three data collection instruments. The first instrument was an SOEP/FFA involvement survey developed by the author. The second instrument was developed by the author and solicited SOEP and FFA program characteristics deemed necessary in a semesterized program by instructors of the cooperating schools. The third instrument, an SOEP/FFA program characteristic opinionnaire, was developed by the author as a result of the program characteristics submitted by participating …

A Review Of Explicit And Implicit Propositions About Women As Terrorists, Ineke Haan Marshall, Vincent J. Webb, Dennis Hoffman

The purpose of this paper on women as terrorists is threefold. The first aim is to examine a portion of the existing literature in order to identify explicit and implicit propositions and hypotheses about the causal dynamics involved in female terrorism. The second is to make a critical examination of these propositions and hypotheses and to categorize the nature of prevailing explanations of women as terrorists. Finally, the policy implications of the various approaches to explaining female involvement in terrorist activities are examined.

At the request of the Community Resources and Service Committee of the Omaha Hospice Organization, this study was made to determine the knowledge and/or use of hospice concepts and programs by health care professionals. The Octofoil is the offical publication of the Ninth Infantry Division Association, Inc., an organization formed by the officers and men of the 9th Infantry Division in order to perpetuate the memory of fallen comrades, preserve the esprit de corps of the Division, promote peace and serve as an information bureau about the 9th Infantry Division. The Association is made up of 9th Infantry veterans from WWII and Vietnam, spouses, widows and lineal descendants.
