There are various questionnaires that can be used to assess an individuals’ workload when performing a task or set of tasks. One such measure is the Multiple Resources Questionnaire (MRQ , Boles & Adair, 2001). The MRQ was developed to address the diagnostic limitations of other workload measures (such as the NASA-Task Load Index) and consists of 17 items to determine which perceptual and cognitive resources a task involves. Furthermore, the measure can be used to identify areas that should be addressed to alleviate overload of specific resources.
