This study examines the influence of ASD-specific training or professional development, peer observations, feedback from consultation/collaboration and teacher attitudes on general education teacher’s self-efficacy beliefs for educating students with ASD, as well as whether knowledge mediates the effect of professional development on teacher self-efficacy. It is hypothesized that the proposed theoretical model of teacher self-efficacy for educating students with ASD will fit an empirical model based on collected data. Sensitive, oftentimes unsettling topics are inherent, especially in psychology education (Boysen et al., 2018). Prior notification - also known as trigger warnings - to help students prepare for, or avoid, possibly disturbing, upcoming education topics (Boysen, 2017, p. 164) are being pushed for by college students on potentially disturbing content. We previously replication Guy A. Boysen’s “Trigger Warnings in psychology Classes: What Do Students Think?” and found that students from a diverse, religious institution had few significant differences, but, in general, the results from the two data sets were quite similar (Kim et al, 2020). Spiritual Well-Being - A Proactive Resilience Component: Exploring Its Relationship With Practices, Themes, And Other Psychological Well-Being Factors During The Covid-19 Pandemic In Cism-Trained First Responders, Justine Jaeger, Harvey J. Burnett Jr., Kristen R. Witzel

Research suggests spiritual resilience may ameliorate the negative effects of exposure to traumatic events among disaster mental health first responders. Our study examined the relationship between spiritual wellness and associated resilience factors among four groups of first responders (law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical services and 911 dispatchers) trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) during a global pandemic. Utilizing a mixed methods-survey with transcendental phenomenological design, data was collected from 107 participants with membership in the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) or the Michigan Crisis Response Association (MCRA). Predictors Of Cognitive Failure In Everyday Life Among American Adults, Jared A. Holman

Cognitive failures are a sometimes costly everyday experience—problematic use of mobile devices is related to higher cognitive failure in students. Is there a strong relationship between problematic mobile device use and cognitive failure in adults? If so, does that relationship remain when controlling for psychological well-being? In two samples of American adults, psychological well-being and distress accounted for over 70% of variance in everyday cognitive failures, as did problematic mobile device use. However, when controlling for psychological well-being, problematic mobile device use accounted for an additional 2% of variance. Well-being and device use overlap in relationship to cognitive failures.

To examine students’ perceptions of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their educational environment during the transition to remote learning in Spring 2020. Andrews University switched to a completely remote learning modality from the traditional face-to-face in-classroom instructions. This study was conducted to examine students’ perceptions of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their educational environment during the transition.
