Fundamentally Christian preaching is not subject to change. Its basis is the same from generation to generation: the inspired, immutable Word of God; its message dare never be anything but the grace of God in Christ Jesus. Any preaching that does not strictly adhere to these essential principles will invariably result in dechritstianizing, or paganizing, the sermon.
