El Caos Como Agencia De La Multitud En El Imperio, Miguel Ángel Rojas

El presente artículo busca entender cuál es el lugar de la Multitud dentro del Imperio, entender si para ella es posible la agencia y, en caso de ser así, cómo se configura esta posibilidad. Para esto, se realizó primero una revisión del concepto de Imperio y su relación con la Multitud. Posteriormente, se buscó entender cómo funciona la multitud desde un enfoque sistémico para finalmente entender la posibilidad de su agencia. Tras esto, se pudo encontrar que es precisamente el caos de este sistema, como esencia fundamental, el que media en la relación entre Multitud e Imperio.

Given the state of the planet at present —specifically, the linked global ecological and economic crises that conjure dark imaginings and nihilistic actualities of increasing resource depletion, poisonings, and wide-scale sufferings and extinctions—I ask What might we hope now? What points of intervention offer possibility for transformation? At best, the response can only be partial. The approach this thesis takes initiates from specific pre-discursive assumptions. The first understands current conditions as having been produced, and continuing to be so, through practices that enact and sustain neoliberal relations. That literature has not entirely lost its means when faced with great human tragedies is a fact widely debated when it comes to the Holocaust. This text relies on a discussion of the unspeakable in order to reflect on the texts written about Rwanda’s genocide. Reading those texts’ thresholds reveals a tension of writing between history and fiction, “devoir de mémoire” and near resignation of speech.
