Researchers have demonstrated that many manufacturing managers have used successful manufacturing strategies to improve their company’s performance. Manufacturing managers search for successful strategies to implement efficient manufacturing systems because inefficient manufacturing systems can negatively affect their company’s performance. Decreased performance from high employee turnover can result in lower organizational profitability. Business leaders of sales organizations who lack leadership strategies to reduce voluntary turnover experience high turnover rates among millennials and observe significantly lower organizational productivity and profitability. Employee turnover negatively impacts small and medium enterprises (SME) sustainability. SME leaders are interested in finding workable strategies to reduce turnover and the high cost of hiring new employees. Grounded in the transformational leadership theory, the purpose of this qualitative multiple case study was to explore strategies SME leaders in Nigeria used to reduce employee turnover. To improve student achievement in urban public schools with high poverty, it is important to address specific leadership styles (i.e., transformational, transactional, and passive-avoidant leadership styles) in relationship to their school climate. The purpose of this multivariate correlational study, framed by leadership theory, was to investigate the relationship between principals' leadership and school climate as perceived by high school teachers in an urban school district. The purpose of this quantitative cross-sectional study was to examine the effects of transformational and servant leadership on organizational commitment and the mediating effect of management bullying in the workplace. Work-life balance remains a challenge for transformational leaders who are managers in the hospitality industry. Guided by the principles of leader member exchange theory, this quantitative study investigated how transformational leadership level predicted a commitment to work-life balance roles for 100 degreed frontline hotel managers. In particular, the effects of transformational leadership and commitment on job roles, family roles, friendship roles, and social roles were explored. Highly qualified individuals are leaving the Caribbean and relocating to the United States and other developed countries. Researchers describe this resulting flight of human capital, or brain drain, from the Caribbean as a problem which has no clear definition or immediate solution. This phenomenological study explored perceptions of government senior executives in the United States Virgin Islands (USVI) of the cause and impact of brain drain.
