Under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), entities existing as of January 1, 2024, must report beneficial ownership to FinCEN by December 31, 2024. Beneficial owners include those with 25% ownership or substantial control. Required information includes legal name, birthdate, address, and ID details. Non-compliance can result in severe civil and criminal penalties. Exceptions may apply for tax-exempt entities and large companies. Legal challenges to the CTA are ongoing, but compliance is advised.

INTRODUCTION: Clear aligner treatment's main drawback is that the patient decides how long to wear them each day. For clear aligner therapy to be successful, compliance is essential. A poor treatment outcome would arise from noncompliant patients.

METHODS: The study was a randomized clinical trial of 2 parallel groups (7 patients per group) who underwent clear aligner orthodontic treatment having an age range of 17-24 years. The aim of this systematic review is to analyze and compare tooth loss (TL) rates between regular and irregular compliant patients having different smoking habits.

Materials and Methods:

Electronic and manual literature searches were conducted by one author in several databases, including Medline (PubMed), Embase, Google Scholar. A total of 156 publications were screened. Three reviewers analyzed the articles and extracted the data. A total of 33 studies met the inclusion criteria.

Nonadherence to radiation therapy schedules is a documented problem among head and neck cancer patients. This retrospective dissertation study examined whether demographics, clinical characteristics, or physical and psychological symptoms were related to nonadherence in head and neck cancer patients. The electronic medical records of 262 head and neck cancer patients at a southeastern U.S. cancer center were reviewed to determine whether nonadherence was related to symptom scores and other patient and clinical-related factors. The purpose of this study was to describe the prevention practice strategies and barriers faced by secondary school athletic trainers. Methods: Athletic trainers (n=3010) were recruited from secondary schools through e-mails provided by the national professional organization database. This quantitative cross-sectional survey applied Andersen's behavioral model of service utilization to examine whether the ANC facility type, provider type, provider gender, time to ANC facility, cost, and number of services can predict ANC compliance among rural women. Aim

To identify predictors of compliance during non-surgical and supportive periodontal therapy (SPT).

Materials and Methods

In this retrospective study, demographic, dental, medical data of 427 new patients in a private practice were collected. Data were analysed in statistical models with non-surgical therapy and SPT compliance used as dependent variables.

Results

Of the 427 patients, 17.3% never agreed to initial therapy, 10.7% never completed therapy and 20.8% completed treatment, but never entered SPT. Retention is an important aspect of orthodontics, which may influence the long-term outcome and satisfaction level of patients who undergo orthodontic treatment. The objective of this study was to identify commonly used orthodontic retainers and retention protocols, and assess patients’ opinions and satisfaction levels with these regimens in relation to several pre-defined variables.
