Objective The aim was to evaluate anxiety and depression among Egyptians during coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, its associated factors, and public commitment to infection control measures. Background COVID-19 pandemic may be stressful for people. Fear and anxiety regarding a new disease can be overwhelming. Participants and methods A prospective study was conducted on 1080 Egyptians using four questionnaires: first, sociodemographic data and hearing about COVID-19; second, generalized anxiety disorders questionnaire; third, patient health questionnaire; and fourth, commitment to infection control measures during this epidemic. Objective To assess the prevalence and severity of nomophobia among medical residents in Menoufia University Hospitals and to assess its relation with anxiety, doctor–patient relationship, and residents' specialty/subspecialty. Background Nomophobia is an abbreviation for 'no-mobile-phone phobia,' which describes anxiety experienced by mobile phone users in its absence; it is the fear of becoming technologically incommunicable. This fear is characterized by physical, psychological, and cognitive symptoms in the context of stress or danger. Objective The aim of this work is to estimate the frequency of different malignant diseases among the families in Manshaat Sultan village, Menoufia Government, and also estimate the depression and anxiety burden among the families of the studied patients with malignant disease.
