Introduction: Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the injuries that have an effect on the movement of the body or its system like muscles, tendons, nerves, discs, ligaments etc.

Materials and methods: The study aimed to assess the musculoskeletal disorders, identify the contributing factors and association between musculoskeletal disorders and the selected variables among student nurses. Abstract

Introduction

Children experience significant pain and distress during paediatric procedures, especially during intravenous (IV) cannulation. Several non-pharmacological interventions are in use for this purpose. Many distraction techniques are suggested.

Methods

A randomised controlled trial was conducted among 60 children in the age group of 4-12 years undergoing first IV cannulation after admission to evaluate the effectiveness of kaleidoscope compared to standard treatment on pain and behaviour response. Through block randomisation, 30 children were allocated to each group. Standard tools were used to assess pain and behaviour response.

Methods: this non- experimental research study was conducted among 149 females under risk of developing Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Introduction: In India, the entire population is prone to iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) due to iodine deficiency in the soil of the subcontinent and consequently, the food derived from it.
