A major concern raised by child advocates, law enforcement, and social service providers was the possible increase in undetected child abuse and maltreatment. This study examined the association between the social and structural determinants of health and COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among older adults in the United States.

The data was acquired from the University of Michigan Health and Retirement Study, a publicly available dataset.
