This study provides a detailed view of the journal publication activities of academic librarians in Tennessee for the five-year period from 2007 through 2011. The authors are interested in developing a picture of the journalbased publication activities of this group of people in order to benchmark against previous studies and to contribute to an understanding of the publication activity of academic librarians.
