With today’s financial constraints, librarians can never get too far away from the challenge of reorganizing, redesigning or reimagining their workflows, staffing or departments. Does the term outsourcing still scare you? How have libraries adapted to the threat or reality of outsourcing in their organizations? Giving Credit: How Well Do Librarians Cite And Quote Their Sources?, Peter Genzinger, Deborah Wills

The practice of citing references is integral to scholarship. This paper focuses on three prominent journals for library science: College and Research Libraries, Library Resources and Technical Services, and Reference and User Services Quarterly. Errors in both citations and quotations were found in all three journals, although no statistically significant differences among journals were discovered. Citation errors of less than 10 percent were found for all three journals, while in total, 30.3 percent of quotations were judged to be questionable in some way. This study was designed to investigate the perception and practice of Information Ethics by librarians in four higher institutions in Oyo State, Nigeria. Survey research design was adopted with population size consisted of 47 librarians under population of the study; total enumeration sampling technique was used. Questionnaire and interview for four (4) Senior Librarians were the instruments adopted for data collection. Out of 47 copies of the questionnaire that were distributed, 46 were returned, and considered suitable for data analysis. Three research questions with one null hypothesis (tested at 0.05 level of significance) were formulated for this study. SPSS output …

KanbanFlow.com will be introduced as a user-friendly tool for implementing Kanban in the workplace to improve performance outcomes and deal with shifting and measuring priorities. A comparison will be made of digital versus paper to-do lists for librarians and library staff.
