Theses and Dissertations

The purpose of this study was to look into the administrative needs of the media specialist working in a school situation, and to provide for him resources and suggestions on administrative procedures. These would include general examples and descriptions of media center operations, sources and selection of media and equipment, standards for media centers, and specific methods used in technical processing and other administrative activities.

Books, periodicals, pamphlets, government documents, and materials available through ERIC with recent publications dates were searched. A number of sources were eliminated in an effort to prepare a practical and useful bibliography. A good portion …
