The present study is a bibliometric analysis of 328 articles from 11 volumes published in International Journal of Digital Curation published by University of Edinburgh, U.K from 2006-2017. The study is based on three basic objectives in terms of yearly distribution of articles, authorship pattern and degree of collaboration in the journal. Data collection is done from DOAJ. The result revealed that year 2009 was the most fruitful year with 46 articles, Single authorship showing highest contribution and extent of collaboration recorded is considerable with a overall value of 0.69.

Nowadays, the open access movement has become one of the most effective to make up-to-date information accessible to users. This study aimed at examining the relationship between the usage count and the number of citations of library and information sciences articles emphasizing on access type and the study used document analysis and scientometrics based on journals in the Web of Science. The present study is a bibliometric analysis of select 10 open access journals in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS). The study intends to establish an idea about the yearly growth of publications, most contributing countries, most contributing institutions, types of documents published, most cited publications, prolific authors, citation impact, authorship pattern, and some other bibliometric aspect of these journals. Open access movement has been changed dramatically in recent past years. And it has been supported by individual researchers, institutes, organizations and publishers too. The current paper is a comparative study of Open Access Repositories (OARSs) among three European countries Austria Germany, Switzerland registered in Open Access Repository Ranking (OARSR) (http://repositoryranking.org. ) website. It is also discussed and highlights about open access repositories, operational status, top ten repositories by collection wise and policy etc.. The present study aims to identify the status of Open Access Repositories (OARs) in the field of Ecology and Environment. The data was collected from the Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR). Data collected was analysed on different parameters such as geographical distribution, software usage, content type, repository type and language diversity. As of now OpenDOAR holds 176 repositories in the field of Ecology and Environment. The findings further reveal that the maximum number of repositories belong to the USA accounting for 18(10.2%). Also, the maximum number of repositories are institutional accounting for 134(76%).
