The English and American legal systems and law are founded under the Common Law System. However, there are staunch differences and similarities that work to define the individual legal features of each nation, such as the law's interpretation, making, and role. This paper aims to analyze the qualities that comprise each legal system and analyze their commonalities and contrasting features. The features that will be analyzed are the Common Law systems, Supreme Court, Judicial system Structure, and Legislative Process.
