My research is a study of the legal framework that governs the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry to determine the viability of generation, grid connection and transmission of electricity small scale renewable electricity generators. I would be making a comparative analysis between the measures adopted by Ontario and Southern Australia to proffer appropriate recommendations to solve the problem of inadequate electricity access in Nigeria. These jurisdictions were chosen bearing in mind their strong fossil fuel background and the various action plans that were adopted to resolve the issue of overdependence on fossil fuels.
