Health care providers are consistently unaware of the implications, efficacy, and resources correlated with medical cannabis and cannabidiol. Thus, patients are uninformed about medical cannabis as a treatment option for their qualifying conditions. Informative educational sessions present a method to facilitate specialty knowledge development regarding medical cannabis and cannabidiol. In this scholarly project, six nurse practitioners and two allied staff members, attended a PowerPoint presentation followed by an open discussion regarding cannabinoids.
