The purpose of this research is to outline the history of the work done by missionaries of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in the Philippines. The study is made in the context of the Christian faith. The writer believes that the God of history led the Lutheran Church to the Philippines. He gives credit for the results attained to God's activity through the Word and Sacraments and the dedicated lives of His people.
