The purpose of this study was to review literature about the physical and psychological benefits of physical activity and the correlation between body fat and physical concept. This study was designed to provide not only the measurement method of body fat and physical self, but also the pros and cons of each measurement instrument. It also demonstrated the relationship between body fat and physical self-concept. Furthermore, it demonstrated the physical and psychological benefits of physical activity.

The main purpose of this project was to present to other athletes and coaches an unconventional form of practice; the utilization of imagery and how it can lead to improved athletic performance in many different sports including tennis, golf, cross-country, basketball, track & field gymnastics, diving, soccer and weight-lifting. This project analyzed multiple studies in which the use of imagery was tested among a number of athletes during different sports activities. The purpose of this project was to assist physical education teachers to acquire knowledge and expertise on ways of informing and motivating students at the middle and high school level about the benefits of motivation and exercise on personal health. The information in the project determined whether or not there was a correlation between motivational interventions, improved fitness, and performance. This study examined the relationship between using these motivational models to increase student knowledge and whether using these models would assist students in goal setting fitness planning.
