The purpose of this study was to review literature about the physical and psychological benefits of physical activity and the correlation between body fat and physical concept. This study was designed to provide not only the measurement method of body fat and physical self, but also the pros and cons of each measurement instrument. It also demonstrated the relationship between body fat and physical self-concept. Furthermore, it demonstrated the physical and psychological benefits of physical activity.

The main purpose of this project was to present to other athletes and coaches an unconventional form of practice; the utilization of imagery and how it can lead to improved athletic performance in many different sports including tennis, golf, cross-country, basketball, track & field gymnastics, diving, soccer and weight-lifting. This project analyzed multiple studies in which the use of imagery was tested among a number of athletes during different sports activities.
