Acknowledgment, 2 December 1826, of John Beveridge, Milnathort, Scotland, of wages owed to David Anderson and son; and direction, 31 March 1827, to shoemaker Andrew Morison to offset a debt owed to Beveridge by delivering a pair of shoes to Anderson as part of the settlement. The reverse includes notes of labor performed by Anderson for one Robert Ritchie.
