Few people visiting Mormon Row today realize that the six remaining homesteads constitute about a fifth of those that once defined the Mormon Row community. Time and the harsh climate have taken an extreme toll. Most structures that remain stand abandoned and in need of repair. The farms are not interpreted and most visitors probably do not even know that the historic area is within the boundaries of Grand Teton National Park.
