The purpose of this project investigates the projected anthropogenic C⁰² emissions generated through the production of Portland cement at three manufacturing facilities in southern California. Research consisted of projecting annual greenhouse gas emission inventories for three case studies pursuant to Assembly Bill 32, The Global Warming Solution Act of 2006, which requires mandatory reporting of large producers of greenhouse gas emissions in California.

The purpose of this project was to look at and determine the methods that would best prevent the occurrence of false readings durring testing and analysis of cyanide in wastewater. This project was designed to help those wastewater treatment plants in the Santa Ana Watershed who are in the process of developing a uniform method that minimizes or eliminates interferences currently found. Eastern Municipal District, Inland Empire Utilities agency, Orange County Water District, San Bernardino Valley Municipal, Water District, and Western Municipal Water District all are members of the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA).

The purpose of this project is to provide a cost analysis and possibliity of utilizing recycled water to the north area of Fontana and if it is even possible. Water shortage and drought conditions have increased the cost for treatment of potable water and imported water universally. This had brought much attention to recycled water far and wide. As the population and potable water demand increases over the next 20 years, the availability of recycled water is also projected to grow.

This project will explore the environmental benefits of sustainable land use practices as defined in the Ahwahnee Water Principles for Resource Efficient Land Use. These principles identify resource efficient land use practices that local communities can implement. City ordinances contain barriers to prevent the implementation of Ahwahnee Water Principles. The city of Ontario's municipal code, New Model Colony General Plan, and several specific area plans as well as San Bernardino's general plan, municipal code, and University Hills Specific Plan were analyzed to identify preventions and promotions of these water principles.
