Prerapation And Supercapacitor Property Of Al Doped Co_3o_4, Xin Ge, Ye Chen, Chun-Xia Zhang, Chang Shu
Journal of Electrochemistry
With KOH as precipitator to prepare Aluminum doped Co3O4,X-ray diffraction indicated that the doping Al did not change the crystal structure of Co3O4.Electrochemical properties of the sample were tested by cyclic voltammetry and constant-current charge/discharge.The results showed that the chemical doping improved the specific capacitance. When the mol ratio of Co(Ⅱ) with Al(Ⅲ)was 1∶0.05,the specific capacitance was up to 518.07 F/g within 0~400 mV potenitial at current density 5 mA/cm2.
Prediction Of Fatigue Life In 7075-T6 Aluminum From Neural Network Analysis Of Acoustic Emission Data, Nicholas S. Spivey
Prediction Of Fatigue Life In 7075-T6 Aluminum From Neural Network Analysis Of Acoustic Emission Data, Nicholas S. Spivey
Master's Theses - Daytona Beach
Through the use of an acoustic emission (AE) data acquisition system, a Kohonen self-organizing map, and a back-propagation neural network, AE data from 7075-T6 aluminum specimens were used to classify failure mechanisms and predict the number of fatigue cycles to failure. AE waveforms were captured from 40 notched tensile specimens during the low-cycle fatiguing process. A Kohonen self-organizing map and initial data filters were used to classify the data into two distinct failure mechanisms, plane strain and plane stress fracture, plus a third less prevalent mechanism. These results were employed to construct a back-propagation neural network to predict the number …
An Investigation Of Wear-Resistant Coatings On An A390 Die-Cast Aluminum Substrate, D. Adam Mower
An Investigation Of Wear-Resistant Coatings On An A390 Die-Cast Aluminum Substrate, D. Adam Mower
Theses and Dissertations
In this investigation, four coatings were tested for their ability to increase the wear life of A390 aluminum primary clutch sheaves used in continuously variable transmission (CVT). The coatings tested were: hard chrome, electroless nickel metal, hard coat anodizing and composite ceramic coating. The primary clutch sheave material is a die-cast A390 aluminum. A wear test stand was developed to duplicate wear found on CVTs currently in use. The wear was evaluated using four methods. First, the change in shift characteristics of the CVT while running on the wear test stand, second a change in performance using an ATV and …

Structured zeolite/silicon carbide composites were succesfully synthesized by ZSM-5 coatings deposited on macroscopic â-SiC foams with medium surface area. A homogeneous coverage of the support (30 wt % zeolite) by ZSM-5 crystals, having 1 ím average size, was reached after a double-coating procedure. The ZSM-5/â-SiC composite materials were characterized by BET, XRD, SEM, and H/D exchange methods. 27Al MAS NMR analysis revealed that all aluminum was present in a tetrahedral coordination, thus sitting in the zeolite framework. The existence of a nanoscopic layer of silica and silicon oxycarbide on the surface of the support ensures the strong anchoring of the …
