"This thesis will present a detailed discussion of the principles of frequency conversion and the problems attendant to the design of converter stages. The topic of harmonic conversion has been singled out for a more extended treatment than is now available in the literature. This topic is the subject of the experimental investigation portion of this thesis. Harmonic conversion has applications in U-H-F receivers as well as in "Double Superheterodyne Receivers".
