It was the purpose of this study to propose, in light of recent research, a revised and extended language arts program for high school freshmen with particular attention to (1) improved articulation and sequence; (2) suggested ideas for procedures and creativity; (3) inclusion of more specific and detailed content; (4) incorporation of some of the recent trends in methods, materials, and content; and (5) an attempt to avoid duplication and reiteration.

The purpose of this study was to plan the initial developments of a junior high school mathematics laboratory. The developments include the implementation of team teaching procedures involving a demonstration unit establishing a modern mathematics approach to the teaching of geometry.

It will seek answers to the following questions: tlhat is the origin of such a concept? What are the arguments for and against such a concept? Is it possible to list the facilities and services needed in a school's Instructional Materials Center? What are the relationships between each school's Instructional Materials Center and instructional materials units at other levels?
