Educational institutions began a journey of systematic review of programs and strategic planning sixty years ago. During that time the assessment and evaluation movement has produced copious complex models with numerous motivators, such as accreditation requirements and accountability. The objective of the consultancy project was to create a program evaluation model and process to provide community colleges with a clear picture of the health of academic programs with a goal of continuous improvement, including highlighting program strengths, areas for improvement, and specific action plans.
