This booklet contains a documentation of the project Acting Different which was implemented by Smashing Times and Corrymeela Community/Irish Peace Centres and consisted of a series of drama workshops and seminars conducted on a cross-community and cross-border basis with several groups in the Lisburn and Castlereagh area of Northern Ireland and County Leitrim in the Republic of Ireland. The aim of the project was to use high quality theatre processes to promote peace building and reconciliation. Most academics have an opinion on the existence or otherwise of grade inflation. Some people deny the existence of grade inflation. Some argue that it is damaging to academia while some argue that it is a normal phenomenon and is not damaging while others assert that it is impossible to measure. Skills in working in teamwork are demanded from graduates, and these are ever more likely to be over the internet. Horizon (2011) calls for this need to be reflected in students’ project work. The use of Wikis has been posited as a tool for collaborative online knowledge creation, increasing engagement, and social constructivism (Wheeler and Wheeler, 2008). The use of wikis in student groups is still relatively new, however, and the need for deeper investigation of its role in supporting group collaboration has been identified in literature (Bruen et al, in Donnelly, Harvey and O’ Rourke, 2010).
