e purpose of this narrative inquiry was to describe the Black Kindergarten Movement through efforts of the Black Women’s Clubs and their communities at the time right after the Reconstruction and into the Progressive Era. The common documents that were used in the data collection process included official records, newspapers, magazine articles, journal articles and historical accounts. These documents were used for the “restorying” of events. Examining Kindergarten Teachers' Beliefs About And Implementation Of School, Family, And Community Partnerships In Saudi Arabia, Najla Albaiz

The research examined kindergarten teachers’ beliefs and implementation of school, family, and community partnerships (SFCPs) in Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia. It used Epstein’s model of SFCPs including the following practices: parenting, communicating, volunteering, learning at home, decision-making, and collaborating with the community. Two strands were employed: the quantitative obtained teachers’ beliefs and implementation of the SFCP practices by surveying a sample of 266 teachers from 126 public kindergartens. The follow up qualitative strand included a purposeful sample of 12 teachers to explore their experiences with SFCPs within three different social and economic areas (SEAs): High, middle, and low SEAs. This study addressed issues in implementing RTI Tier II reading intervention in kindergarten classrooms which contained Hispanic students learning English. In addition, the scope of reading progress of Hispanic students learning English was explored. The purpose of this multiple case study was to explore how 10 kindergarten teachers reflected developmentally appropriate beliefs in practice at urban public schools in the north of Jordan and at kindergarten classrooms in central Alabama. Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) is a research-based framework for early childhood education that focuses on vital development of the child as a human being and the educative practice that promotes child development as described by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
