This artificial intelligence project presents a comprehensive analysis of four distinct Software as a Service (SaaS) companies—Blend Labs, Riskified, VTEX, and CS Disco—evaluating their internal alignment through strategic focus and execution, customer relationship management, operational efficiency, market adaptability, and leadership stability. By examining key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic initiatives, this project aims to generate new, universal KPIs that serve all of the companies being analyzed. The project also employs a grading rubric designed for assessing the internal alignment of SaaS companies, crucial for their long-term success in the highly competitive and rapidly evolving tech sector. The project's goal was to create an accessible financial analysis tool that could potentially rival traditional, costly financial services. The research involved iterative model development, beginning with a baseline model and advancing through four subsequent iterations, each refined based on the increasing complexity of prompts and the depth of training data. This project introduces a Retrieval-Augmented Film Recommendation System, developed as a Command Line Interface (CLI). It leverages advanced semantic search techniques, combined with retrieval-augmented generation, to deliver personalized movie recommendations. The system accesses extensive film metadata from two remote API sources, enriching the quality and accuracy of its suggestions. Tested across various movie preference profiles, the system adeptly adjusts its recommendations to suit individual tastes, showcasing its adaptability and the effectiveness of retrieval-augmented technology in streamlining user interactions with digital entertainment platforms.

AI language models like ChatGPT(GPT-4), Claude, Grok, PI, and Gemini Advanced have revolutionized various domains with their remarkable capabilities. However, their performance varies significantly depending on the prompting techniques and the domain of application. This research investigates the performance of these models across zero-shot, few-shot, and chain-of-thought prompting techniques in three domains: HELLASWAG (common-sense reasoning), TRUTHFULQA (popular misconceptions), and Game Theory (textbook problems). By evaluating the models using a qualitative scoring rubric and exploring a novel domain, we aim to identify the most effective prompting strategies, gain insights into their strengths and limitations, and inform future research and development efforts …
