This research was aimed to find out one of the Da'wah activists, namely KH Asyhari Marzuqi in delivering Da'wah material. Was it using persuasive words or just the opposite, coercive that causes fear? By using persuasive communication theory and other related theories, researchers analyzed the data using qualitative research methods. The approach used in this study was a case study. Data analysis model was with explanation development. Qualitative research is identical to a critical and interpretative research.
