Generic Model Control Of Biomethanation Process, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Ahmed S. Abd El-Hamid, Ahmed E. Hussian, Aly M. Radwan

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

This paper focuses on the design of Generic Model Control (GMC) algorithm for the control of the acetate concentration in a biomethanation process with production of methane gas. A nonlinear dynamic model for the biomethanation process is used in the derivation of the control law of Generic Model Control scheme. The controller parameters are estimated using the Trial and Error method. The effectiveness and performance of the proposed control strategy is illustrated by a MATLAB program under various operation conditions and disturbances. The simulation results obtained confirmed the good quality of the control

The determination of parameters of controllers is an important problem in automatic control systems. In this paper, the Levenberg Marquardt (LM) Algorithm is used to effectively solve this problem with reasonable computational effort. The Levenberg Marquardt (LM) Algorithm for optimization of three term (PID) controller parameters with dynamic model of pH neutralization process is presented. The main goal is to show the merits of Levenberg Marquardt algorithm optimization and to determine its suitability in the area of control systems. Lastly, the application of this approach to the calculation of the parameters of PID controller shows that the Levenberg Marquardt (LM) …

Catalyst Deactivation And Regeneration, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Santosh Walke, Sagar Kambale

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

In this article a study about catalyst regeneration is been put forward. A study of how catalyst regeneration is done, why there is a need of regeneration and also about catalyst deactivation mainly in refinery processes. Catalyst Regeneration is widely used in many industries by in-situ or ex-situ methods as an economical beneficial technique for processes. In this article I have also shared some important test done on catalyst before they are used in a specific process. Catalyst Regeneration is mainly seen where the spent catalyst is costly

Comparison Of Selexoltm And Rectisol® Technologies In An Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (Igcc) Plant For Clean Energy Production, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Isah Yakub Mohammed, Mohamed Samah, Adam Mohamed, Gbadegesin Sabina Dec 2014

Comparison Of Selexoltm And Rectisol® Technologies In An Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (Igcc) Plant For Clean Energy Production, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Isah Yakub Mohammed, Mohamed Samah, Adam Mohamed, Gbadegesin Sabina

In this study, a comparison of SelexolTM and Rectisol® technologies in an Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) plant for Clean Energy production was carried out .The overall plant efficiency, individual solvent performance, the operating conditions and the energy requirements, the capital and operating cost were analyzed as well as the safety and environmental impacts. The result revealed that both the SelexolTM and Rectisol® reduce the overall plant efficiency by approximately 9% and 10% respectively. Rectisol® process showed ability to recover more carbon dioxide and sulfur than the SelexolTM process. It was also found that SelexolTM solvent gives good absorption at …
