The 2020 Covid-19 pandemic underscored the importance of vaccination in our governmental- health bodies. As a result, effective vaccine communication is more necessary than ever. The goal of this paper is to better understand frames, strategies and themes used by NYC Health as it pertains to video media related artifacts in their Covid-19 vaccination campaign. This research is important because it informs overall health and vaccine discourse. In analyzing data several key themes were discovered. This research investigates racial microaggressions against Black American women in the workforce. In addition, this study explores how racial discrimination on the job continues to be problematic for Black American women despite the long fight for racial equality in the past decades. It is common knowledge that all women, in general, must still fight for equal opportunities in the workforce; however, for this research, we will focus on Black American women. Prior research shows that social media influencers often use their social networks for constant exposure and self-promotion, similar to the way celebrities do. However, little is known about the potential social media offers for the search of educational content and thought leaders in specific social eds. This research aims at exploring the opportunities social media or as a medium for financial literacy. This capstone study explores entrepreneurial narratives centered around the role of communication within a start-up environment and to what extent strategic communication plays a role. I am addressing the following question: To what extent do start-ups see themselves as strategic actors when approaching communications and financing within their companies? To answer this question, I conducted seven oral histories with entrepreneurs within the Public relations, online sales, and real estate fields.
