In his interview Muler discusses growing up in Vilna, Poland, his parent's occupations, and his family history. He also talks about leaving Vilna to escape the oncoming Germans, how his parents refused to come, and the conditions as he and his friends crossed into Russia. Towards the end of the interview Muller also talks about coming to the United States and his eventual arrival in Dayton.

In her interview Muler discussed her early life in Tomashant, Poland, her family history, and her religious background as a child. She also details her religious education and her exposure to multiple languages spoken at home. Towards the end of the interview Muler talks about the beginning of the War in 1939 and the impact that had on where she was in Poland at that time.

On August 15th, 1984, Julie Orenstein interviewed Lee Fishman about her life before, during, and after World War II. In her interview Fishman describes her early childhood in Poland, her parents careers and education, and their religious life there. She later recounts the Germans invading her hometown and being forced to live in a ghetto and how her family eventually escaped to hide in a nearby forest.
