On December 12, 2019, an intensive archeological survey augmented with shovel testing was completed to evaluate potential impacts associated with the proposed construction of a parking lot expansion in east central Irving in Dallas County, Texas. The overall grade of the area would be converted to a consistent slope toward the unnamed tributary to the Elm Fork of the Trinity River near the center of the parcel and more steeply sloped along the eastern portion of the parcel. Approximately 6.5 acres (2.6 hectares) were examined and shovel tested.

This location is within the Westend National Register Historic District, designated in 1978. Since the proposed undertaking will occur on land owned or controlled by a political subdivision of the State of Texas, this project was subject to the Antiquities Code of Texas (Texas Natural Resources Code, Title 9, Chapter 191). The City of Dallas is proposing to construct an 84-inch diameter wastewater main across the old Trinity River channel in Dallas County, Texas. The project area is located in the floodplain of the old Trinity River channel, northeast of the Market Center Boulevard and Turtle Creek Boulevard intersection in Dallas, Texas. AR Consultants, Inc. (ARC) conducted trench monitoring in an area approximately 40-meters long by 4.25-meters wide (0.04-acres) on March 7, 2019 under the authority of Texas Antiquities Permit number 8680. DIPS Environmental, Inc., contracted with AR Consultants, Inc. to conduct an intensive archaeological survey of Crawford Memorial Park under the authority of Texas Antiquities Permit number 8747. Crawford Memorial Park totals approximately 265 acres. However, modern landscape modifications including a number of sports fields, the Crawford Aquatic Center, parking lots, cement walking paths, a playground, pavilion, bathrooms, and a City of Dallas Park and Recreation Maintenance Facility exist within the park boundary and project area. On 23 October 2019, an archeological survey was completed in order to evaluate potential impacts to archeological resources associated with the proposed construction of Atmos Energy Corporation’s (Atmos) proposed D9 natural gas pipeline replacement in Dallas and Denton Counties, Texas. Approximately 5.5 miles of the replacement line is expected to be installed through open-cut trenching with approximately 1.5 miles installed through directional boring; this method will be utilized at all waterways and roadway crossings. EVP Developmental/Avere Real Estate is proposing to construct the Bear Creek Corporate Center at the southeast corner of SH161 and Conflans Road in Irving, Texas on approximately 16 acres. This is located in the Bear Creek floodplain 300 meters form the creek channel.AR Consultants, Inc. was contracted to survey the entire property. The survey and shovel testing were conducted on May 17, 2016.
The water table was relatively high at the time of survey, inundating almost a third of the property. No prehistoric or historic archaeological sites were found during the survey. This follows the predictions made prior to field …

The Trinity River Authority of Texas (TRA) contracted HDR to conduct an intensive cultural resources survey of the approximately 3.24 miles of 36-inch wastewater interceptor pipeline installation in the City of Lancaster, Dallas County, Texas. The Area of Potential Effects (APE) is approximately 3.24 miles in length within a 50-foot Right-ofWay (ROW). Approximately 1.35 miles of the project area falls within previouslydisturbed road ROW or area encompassed by commercial development. The site was evaluated by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT ) as eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places.
