This is an Internet-based project that will serve as a guide to scholarly resources, including introductory material to texts written by key figures in the Austrian Women’s Movment a the turn of twentieth century. This project is also an overview of the Allgemeine Oesterreichische Frauenverein (AÖFV), or General Austrian Women’s Organization, and its key leaders and publications during its peak years between 1893-1910. The AÖFV was one of the most influential women’s organizations in fin-de-siècle Vienna, changing the face of politics and society for women. Molbech was asked the year after Kierkegaard's death to sketch a biographical portrait for a planned German translation of Either/Or, he went to his friend, the philosopher Hans Brochner, for advice and suggestions.
