This paper systematically combs the development process and implementation characteristics of Japanese infants food education, and puts forward that China can establish a scientific and perfect Chinese infants food education system on the basis of learning from the mature experience of Japanese infants food education, starting from the creation of infants characteristic food education courses, strengthening the training of food education teachers, building a food education coordination mechanism, inheriting excellent food culture and improving food education laws and regulations.

Japan is an important partner for the U.S. beef industry and a major beef importing country. In 2020, Japan was the world’s third-largest importer of beef products (USDA, 2021). Although the Japanese beef market has been studied, research on the importance of product characteristics in determining import demand has been limited. The goal of this research is to provide a detailed analysis of how U.S. beef products compete in the Japanese market relative to other exporting countries based on prices, product form (chilled versus frozen), and product characteristics (boneless versus bone-in).

In Japan’s postwar era, agriculture has become highly industrialized, involving heavy machinery, chemical fertilizers, and pesticides, all in the name of “progress.” Through employing such practices, humans have attempted to improve upon nature’s way of doing things, and in turn have degraded the soil’s fertility, natural ecosystems, and human health. In response to this, Shizen Nōhō has emerged in Japan as an alternative way of cultivating food. Shizen Nōhō practitioners challenge the notion that we need chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and machinery to farm successfully. Agricultural adviser Gil George, the author of this article, returned earlier this year from 21/2 years' study in Japan, where he gained a Diploma in Japanese Language from the Osaka Institute of Foreign Studies and a Master's Degree in Economics from Hitotsubashi University, one of Japan's foremost economic institutions.
In Japan he examined the post-war development of the Japanese agricultural co-operative movement, and some aspects of marketing of agricultural products.
