Research Aims: The current study proposes to fill in the gap in customer orientation literature by focusing on the relationship between customer orientation, employee rhetorical sensitivity and customer retention from the customer perspective. Design/methodology/approach: The questionnaires were distributed at the KLIA and KLIA2 among experienced customer of travel agency, where the respondents were selected using convenience sampling. Research Findings: The finding indicates that customer orientation and employee rhetorical sensitivity has positively influence customer retention. Additionally, employee rhetorical sensitivity partially mediates the relationship between customer orientation and customer retention. Research Aims - This research intends to study the extent of work-life balance and the level of satisfaction among women teachers assigned in the northernmost part of the province of Surigao del Sur and to determine if there is a significant relationship between them. Design/methodology/approach - This study used the descriptive normative and correlation method. The adopted questionnaire was modified and used. A total of 226 women teachers were chosen as respondent but only 210 participated. The data gathered from the questionnaire were tallied, tabulated, analyzed and presented in tables. Research Aims: Using two countries as the object, this study aims to analyze the influence of technology readiness towards favorableness on online transportation consumers in Indonesia and Thailand. Design/methodology/approach: Empirical evidence for the research was derived from a survey that collected data from 500 students in Indonesia and Thailand, analyzed using Logit Biner method with the help of software SPSS. Research Findings: The result of this study shows that there were two hypotheses accepted, H1 (optimism influences favorableness) and H3 (insecurity has an effect on favorableness), while other hypotheses (H2 and H4) are not significant. Research Aims - This study was undertaken to extend existing literature by examining the mediating effect of trust in supervisors in the relationship between perceived interactional fairness in reward systems and organizational commitment. Design/methodology/approach - The SmartPLS method was applied to analyze the survey questionnaire data collected from employees at a national audit department in Malaysia. Research Findings - The results reveal that the effect of perceived interactional fairness in reward systems on organizational commitment is mediated by trust in supervisors. Research Aims - This study aims to identify the effect of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) on Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) performance. Design/methodology/approach - This study employed a multiple regression analysis. SME performance was treated as dependent variable, whereas ERM was the independent variable. However, analytics using big data relies heavily on data quality, which can be compromised by a lack of data variability. The purpose of the study was to build the predictive model of the presence of U.S. low-cost carriers (LCCs) in the domestic network structure. SEMMA (Sample, Explore, Modify, Model, and Assess) schematic in data mining was followed and employed as the primary methodological procedure. Data in the period of 1Q2016-1Q2018 were extracted from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (DB1B database) and reconstructed to form predictors. Stepwise logistic regression showed a significant predictive performance compared to decision tree technique in terms of fitting measures, which was then used as the concluding model. Purpose – The purpose of this manuscript is to assess the impact of logistics salience on logistics capabilities and performance. Specifically, the impact of logistics salience on logistics innovativeness and logistics service differentiation is measured along with logistics innovativeness and logistics service differentiation effect on logistics performance. Design/methodology/approach – Conclusions were drawn from survey data gathered from logistics and supply chain managers at US firms. Structural equation modelling was utilized to measure the statistical significance of the hypothesized model paths with all findings meeting the basic requirements of interpretation. This study of practical problems in Management Science (MS) describes novel mathematical models for three different decision settings. It addresses questions of: (a) what optimal route should be taken through a time-windows and topographically complex network; (b) what optimal sequencing of scheduled surgeries best coordinates flow of patients through central recovery; and (c) what prices should be charged and what stock amounts should be produced for two markets or channels to maximize profit explicitly, given various capacity and uncertainty conditions.
