This critical approach highlights the grammatical structures, similes, syntactic metaphors and technical methods and styles that the Saudi author Laila Al-Juhani used in her text (40 in the Sense of Growing) to express her feelings regards the changes that occur by the age of forty. The significance of this study relies in its attempt to examine the impact of the awareness of time on the formation of discourse. It addresses an artistic treatment and a discussion of the philosophical dimensions of the controversial of "awareness" and the problem of "time" and their impact on the discourse of revealing.

This article re-examines the authenticity of Sayf Bin Omar's account of the ridda among Tamīm, his own tribe. Sayf implies that the main body of Tamīm remained faithful to Madina at the advent of Muhammad's death. However, modern scholars have discredited Sayf's account on the grounds that 1) the Hadīth's critics considered him unreliable; hence rejecting his transmissions altogether. 2) All other Arab historians disagree with him on this matter. This research is based on the recent Hebrew translations of the Holy Quran: Al-Adawi and Al-Basul’s translations. In this research, I critically analyze these two translations in light of three phenomena of the Arabic rhetorics; specifically, antonymy, synonymy, and polysemy.
